The Raping of My Eyes

Instagram is weird, man. People seriously just post whatever they damn well please. Like, without grasping the full reality of what exactly they’re even posting. It’s like social media acts as a mask, so these people can sh*t out whatever they want to the rest of the world, without even batting an eye.

For instance, one day, I was just scrollin’ on through my Instagram newsfeed, when I was smacked in the face with an image of a dead human fetus. Not even kidding. This was literally a miscarried developing baby that was being put on full display, for everyone and their brother to see.

I was completely shocked, obviously. I mean, it’s not every day your eyes are raped with visuals of dead infants, you know? I was thinking there had to be something wrong with this chick, and then I read the caption “Kateys baby died and I can’t stop f*cking crying”. That’s when I KNEW this chick was definitely f*ckered in the head for sure. Because this wasn’t even her kid, it was one of her friends’! It’s one thing to post your own dead fetus, but to post someone else’s? Don’t know if it’s just because I’m normal, but that’s like super bizarre to me.

It’s also super disrespectful to the child. Even though he was never truly in the world, he was still a human being. Would you take a picture of your granny’s lifeless body right after she died? Hopefully not. Like the girl could’ve posted anything else to show her sadness, like a picture of her hugging the mother, but instead she posted the baby’s translucent corpse.

Now, I’m having a moral dilemma for even thinking about reposting it. But, seeing it might make people more self-aware about what they’re posting to everyone out there. I blurred him out the best I could, but even now I still think the photo is definitely NSFW. If you even want to see what I was forced to look upon, the link is here.
